It's time to sign up for the Annual Windansea Menehune Surf Contest! This year's event will be held Saturday, Oct. 3rd at La Jolla Shores Beach. Applications are now available and you can register on-line here!
This year is sure to be memorable, the junior members of the club are busy planning a fun day for the kids. T-shirts, goodie bags, food, prizes, awards, and pizza party are all in the mix.
Contest entries are due by Sept.19th so register early to ensure your spot. We sold out last year. Registrations received after the 19th will cost $65. Beach entries (if there are openings) will be $75, There will be no guarantee of goodie bags for late or beach entries. Competitors must be 16 years old or younger the day of the contest. Age categories & heat times will be posted the day before the contest, Friday Oct 2 at the Pizza Party and on the website so check back.
When you register, consider making a $100 donation to the event by adding "Sponsor-a-Grom" to your cart. 100% of the funds will go towards making the Menehune Contest awesome for the kids and you will also receive a cool Windansea t-shirt!
