Aloha Judy...

The Club is sad to report the recent passing of Judy Dibble, a charter member of the Women's Division of the Windansea Surf Club. A San Diego native, Judy grew up in OB and attended Point Loma HS. She travelled with the Club on the first trip to Makaha in December of 1963 and was recently honored at our Duke's fundraiser as one of our "Queens of Makaha" along with DeDe Arevalos, Marilyn Malcolm, Joyce Hoffman, & Linda Benson. Judy was a fixture on the Contest circuit in the 60's, including US Championships, winning events and frequently finding herself on the finalist podium.
