Come one and come all and support your Coalition Comp Team this weekend, March 12th and 13th, for the Doheny, "Gathering Of The Tribes" which will be held at Sano at the world famous Churches.
City of San Diego Shack Dedication & Woody Eckstrom Paddleout
Please come join your Club, Friends of Windansea and the La Jolla Historical Society for a dedication and acknowledgement by the Mayors office of the City of San Diego of the builders and caretakers of the World Famous Windansea Shack, along with those who worked tirelessly to get it designated historic. This event will be on March 20th at 11AM and will be held of course at the Windansea lot.
Following this dedication, we will honor one of the men who built the original Shack, Woody Ekstrom. Woody recently passed away at almost 95 years young. Carl and Denise Ekstom have asked, that we help them honor Woody with a paddleout at Windansea, in front of the Shack that he helped build 75 years ago. Aloha Woody!
General Meeting at the VFW Wed, March 30th at 6PM
The March General Meeting, will be held on the 30th of this month at the VFW with a start time at 6PM. Pizza will of course be served and we should have a lot to discuss so please come and hang out with your Windansea family and friends!
Sandy Ordille
Although not out of the woods, Sandy is finally able to go home after weeks of rehab and physical therapy. Sandy still has blood clots in her heart and legs and will need significant down time.
Over the years, Sandy has given so much to her community, to the Club and to aspiring young women surfers, and now she needs our love, good vibes, thoughts, prayers and support.

Our Little Big Man continues down his path of physical and spiritual healing, getting better and stronger everyday.
Move over in the lineup, because before you can say, "Yeah Brah", Starman will be back out soul surfin and stylin better than ever!
Needless to say, Star will Wow everyone with his own dedication to the Shack, by getting Shacked and staying Shackadellic!
