Christmas
Christmas is right around the corner, and during a normal year, we would be celebrating this joyous time with the La Jolla Christmas Parade and a Christmas Party. Unfortunately, these are not normal times and one might say, that the Grinch has stolen our Christmas Party and definitely altered the parade!
We will have a float entered in this year's LJ Christmas Parade, which is not really a parade, but more, a static display of floats that are stationary while onlookers/viewers drive by in some manner. So, no skateboarders, no nothing, just a few of us who will have to remain inside our float, our new shuttle bus in Christmas trim, for the duration of the parade.
This year we are partnering with The Walter Munk Foundation, on a combined effort float.
We had an awesome set up crew this year that met, socially distanced of course, at the Casa of JP de Kervor and Linda Van Zandt.
Thank you JP de Kervor and Linda for allowing us to set up in front of your home. Thank you JP, Ozstar and Robin, Jason Tuschen, Chuck Davey, Jeff Morrow, our new Peruvian friend, Adriana. Thank you Jackie Fitz, my wife Gretchen and my son Magnuson, and thank you Melinda Merryweather for taking the time today to make The Windansea Surf Club Shuttle Bus look spectacular!

2021 WINDANSEA SURF CLUB BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTION
WINDANSEA SURF CLUB - A 501c3 NON-PROFIT CORPORATION
There are 7 named Positions on the “Windansea Surf Club” Board of Directors (BOD) per Bylaws dated November 13, 2013 (article 3.3). For Election of the 2021 WindanSea Surf Club BOD, there are 4 Named Positions & 3 At-Large Positions:
PRESIDENT;
VICE PRESIDENT;
TREASURER;
SECRETARY; AND
DIRECTOR-AT-LARGE (3 TOTAL).
THERE ARE NO CONTESTED 2021 BOD POSITIONS PER NOMINATIONS MADE BY MEMBERS.

Per COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings, THERE WILL BE NO IN-PERSON GENERAL MEETING IN DECEMBER 2020.
